Operating Systems (BITS-OS)

Developed a mini operating system from scratch to with keyboard, display (VGA) , hardware-clock drivers and an example shell as a part of this mini operating system.

MIT Jos Kernel

Contibuted to MIT-JOS to add features like Memory Management using Paging and Segmentation and Process Management. All code written in C and Assembly from scratch.

Building a checkpoint enabled virtual environment

Ported the existing implementation of libckpt checkpointing library from 32 bit to 64 bit (C++).

Implemented a framework for checkpointing Java based applications using different heuristics with the help of DMTCP checkpointing library.
